Left 4 Dead 2???? WHY IS THIS HAPPENING??!?!?
Posted by tetradact on June 2, 2009
E3 is here…and with it brings much joy and happiness to the gaming masses.
Games like Modern Warfare 2 and Star Wars : The Old Republic are games that make me jizz my pants whenever I see the trailer/gameplay demo.
As for Valve, I was hoping…nay, PRAYING for Half Life 2 Episode 3 so I can stroll through the Borealis…but guess what…we get Left 4 Dead 2 instead.
Wait, whut??
Left 4 Dead 2???? I thought Left 4 Dead is barely a year old?? What is Left 4 Dead 2 doing here?? Where is our DLC for L4D Valve?? Is anybody reading this?? Please hold me for a moment. ;_;
Seriously though, what the hell were Valve thinking?? They made promises to support L4D with content way past its release date and now…they are charging us full price to what might as well be called a big DLC. FULL PRICE DAMMIT!!!
As someone who has a shit internet connection, downloading L4D 2 via Steam is a problem for me. ONLY PEOPLE BUYING THROUGH STEAM ARE GIVEN A 50% DISCOUNT??!! Really nice move Valve. I loath that idea.
Its never a good move to lie to your loyal customers Valve…I’d bought L4D on the basis that you’d keep it fresh and exciting for years to come like what you did for TF2, not to see a DLC-cum-sequel.
Bad move Valve, you have severely disappointed me…and for that…I ain’t getting L4D 2 unless its on a discounted weekend.
In the meantime :

Here's what I think of L4D 2

I know this is old, but I’m just wondering if you’re eating your words now. Valve promised us further DLC for L4D1, and while people boycotted the sequel, and as you have, unjustly them a liar, they’ve come through with their promise, and released DLC that ties in with L4D2.

I already ate them when I tried out L4D2 on my friend’s Steam account.
But I don’t really care about L4D or L4D2 since I have migrated to the PS3 and am about to sell of my Steam account.

Usually migration happens the other way around
But okay. That kinda sucks, but yeah

No reply?
especially with Valve announcing DLC for both L4D and L4D2, and the PS3 either missing out or having to pay for it…
