Wonder Festival Winter 2010 : We Came, We Laughed, We Were Trolled

Before I start this entry in proper, I would like you guys to help make a donation to Radkliler/Tetradact’s Help Him Get A DSLR So He Can Stop Feeling Impotent With His Camera Phone Fund.

Yes, I was robbed off my manhood today upon seeing people with so many attachments to their DSLR that I feel so puny next to them . So please be kind and donate some funds to help a greater cause. You could also donate a still functional 2nd hand DSLR if you want and I’ll be happy .

So, Winter Wonfest has ended, and with that, many otakus are now either weeping for their wallets or are still reeling from incredulity for Good Smile Company’s 100th Nendoroid (which is utter genius and troll btw).

Now then, it took me a one hour train ride to reach Makuhari Messe, and the wind was gawd-awful. Thank god it wasn’t cloudy so there is some measure of heat to prevent ass freezing cold temperatures.

After buying a ticket, and waiting in line for about one hour, I entered Hall 8 first and so people selling their garage kits. Not much photos there except…

This Sunday, Makuhari Messe plays host to the Winter Wonderfest, and I will be there.

I’d most likely be hunting for the Wonfest Exclusive Snow Miku as well as snapping pictures to make some people jealous.

10% chance that I will tweet while walking through MM just to spite people. 90% chance of shoving it up /AS/ and TFM members’ faces. 100% gonna ROFL my ass off when people go emo over their absence, and if you do that, I might even add salt into the wound(s).

Well…that was a really, really, REALLY long hiatus for me.

After all the brouhahas that happened, I kinda forgot that I had a blog till an extended session of Daughtry’s Life After You jolted me to realization.

Anywho, I hardly watched any animes for the autumn/winter seasons because its all the same , eg: MOESHIT!! MOESHIT!! MOESHIT!!

So I decided to give a gamble on a new anime this month, and the lucky winner is Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu. I refer it to Idiots , Test, and Yu-Gi-Oh!

Perhaps one of the more WTF anime I had the pleasure watching because it is hilarious.

Story is mainly about testing scores and Yu-Gi-Oh-ish battles. Testing scores. Yu-Gi-Oh. Those two sounds so wrong in the same sentence together.

But at least it has a cast of characters which are standard anime stereotypes like.

The Dumbfuck with a harem. Wait. A dumbfuck WITH a Harem?? NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Harem Type Sigma – The violent but loving tomboy

For the past month I’ve been busy moving to a new place.

Why? You (metaphorically) ask? Because of some tard that really lacks a good beating.

Here is a few definitions of words that expresses how I feel about one of my previous roommates back in the old house.

Vengeful : When someone is out to seek revenge on everyone due to some past experience

One of those cunts have the audacity to steal stuff from our rooms, when we were fucking sleeping. So thats two wrongs there. Not only that, the day I move out, he decided to be a dick and smashed the LED screen of my laptop, rendering it a paperweight.

Okay you cunt, you wanna play hardball? Know this. I know who you are. This world is small. And I promise you, should I ever get proof of what you did to my own property, I’ll make you wish that you never did cross me, and I will deal with you till you become a paraplegic and/or spastic just so to send a message to others. Please, have my middle finger in your fucking eyeballs.

Yes, I went to the Tokyo Games Show held in Makuhari Messe today.

Shame that I didn’t try much games at all (blame it on my patience).

So…was it worth it walking around 7 exhibition halls and seeing cinema-sized screens showing the latest (and unreleased games) all while navigating through the huge mounds of Japanese? Oh HELL YEAH BABY!!!

The Akihabara Report

Okay? All gone?? Good. Now then…went to Akihabara today (or more precisely, Akihabara Electric Town) and well…its a weekday…so the cosplayers and meidos are so minimal its depressing (but on the plus side, NO FUCKING TRAP!! >:D)

Anywho…taking photos in the stores in Akiba is a big no-no. Why? I dunno, but it must have something with foreigners misintepreting or something. Yeah so….all the photos here are taken sneakily so some may be out of focus or some shit. Regardless here are some pictars.

Bon Odori: After Story

As most good people know, yesterday was Bon Odori.

And since staying in the apartment during such a day is tantamount to idiocy (says someone), we decided on a little trip to a not-very-near-at-all location to see for ourselves how the Japanese do Bon Odori. After 30 minutes worth of train rides and another 30 minutes of walking (my stamina was challenged), we arrived at said location (which shall remain classified….or more like I didn’t know the Japanese pronounciation).

Okay…our location sucks…so we transformed and rolled out…and get these instead.

I swear that the fireworks display was more than an hour since I blasted half of my IPod songs.

Anywho, after all that we begin going back with 30 minutes worth of walking, 40 minutes worth of trainrides, and 10 minutes more of walking and reach our apartment, wondering if our legs are about to develop gangrene.

All in all, awesome!

End Week

2nd week of schooling is over.

All’s good except I still need to work on my Katakana. First test scored me perfect on Hiragana (awsm face) and 17/20 for Katakana (which means I fail since passing score is 18/20 so, sad face).

Why?? Why do you have to revert Science and Maths back to BM. Why can’t you realise that English is far more important to scholars compared to BM. Are you so daft to think that BM will help our scholars?? Wouldn’t you swallow that pill called Pride and sack the teachers that are incompetant at teaching in English??

CAN’T YOU HIRE FOREIGNERS TO TAKE OVER THE TEACHING??? DO THE STUDENTS’ OWN FUTURE MEAN SO LITTLE TO YOU????

Really, your decision is way beyond fail, its complete suicide. I pray for the well-being of the students, hopefully they can understand college work instead of being handicapped due to your dumbass decision.
